After dreaming about the little Chicken of the Sea snack packs the timing lined up with my Ghost Pepper Cheating. I put up our massive grow tent by myself (my choice) as the boy swam in the lake with the neighbor kids. I continued the cheat day with Bit O Honey breaks. Naturally, my husband came home to find it completed and he was very happy it was finished because he hates manual Labor.
I didn’t feel comfortable with our make shift grow tent in the garage for 2 reasons. The first was that if a mighty smart raccoon got into the garage, it could accidentally push the space heater into the tarp walls and burn the garage down. As fascinating as that sounded to get rid of the crappy garage, I love those darn plants and didn’t want to loose them. It kept me up at night…
Secondly, I kept looking at the magnificent grow tent light…it has such pretty colors!! I read that it can make you go colorblind. Since I can barely read the baby letters on my detested iPhone I didn’t want to chance further eye damage. I still need to work with that phone for work. (No offense to iPhone lovers, I grew up on Samsung). Also, after a brief review of the Hyper-lapse videos, I realized I may have already suffered some. I wore my favorite shorts, shirt and shoes and none matched. What do you think? Pink, neon yellow, purple and blue…make perfect sense?
So, I bit the bullet and bought the tent! I wasn’t in the mood to put it up and stalled for a week after I received it from the amazing post man that delivered it. It looked might fine in the box. I contemplated where to put it, basement or garage. The idea that tipped me to the garage was the window. We have zillions of giant bumblebees at work on the gooseberry bush next to the garage window. I’m hopeful they will come into the grow tent and pollinate the tomato plants! I realize it will be tricky working with bees, but I don’t like bending over because it hurts my back… so up the tent went in the garage!
After putting it up, I was in desperate need of protein! I reached for the chilled Infusions and went to work creating the most amazing dinner! I think it’s time to get on Amazon and determine if I can get a pallet of these! After all, I think we have a little bit of space in that crappy garage!
