In the midst of a city frost, our crop survived… We live on the lake and glacier landscape, and that has helped undoubtedly to elongate the growing season.

Meanwhile, we are sitting on hundreds of full scale tomatoes that are ready to ripen. We read about how to push them to Redden/ Green. There’s many ways, from 1) plucking leaves,2) plucking leaves, 3) pulling on roots…and others. We went for the easy stuff.
